As part of our continued growth plan, we’re searching for a Senior or Principal Consultant who is invested in what we do.  This role requires someone who is passionate about client and candidate experience, delivering results and increasingly high standards.

We are keen to consider applications from executive search professionals and individuals who haven’t worked in recruitment before, but have enjoyed a successful career in the Regulation sector and would relish the opportunity to have an impact on leadership across a range of Regulatory organisations.

What you’ll do:

♦ New business development and collaborative account management to build strategic partnerships with Regulation clients around their leadership and talent requirements.

♦ Write compelling executive search proposals, defining and articulating appropriate recruitment strategies, and lead/be a part of client pitches.

♦ Attend client briefings, appropriately and credibly challenging the brief based on your knowledge of the sector, managing expectations as appropriate.

♦ Work with Project Co-ordinators to define the project plan and Research colleagues regarding the search, and closely manage every aspect of delivery, whilst maintaining client engagement and support through regular reporting.

♦ Conduct and report on candidate interviews and take the process to longlist and shortlist stages, through to offer management, working closely with the client.

♦ Support candidates throughout the full life cycle, maintaining engagement and helping them perform well through appropriate navigation through public sector recruitment processes.

♦ Attend and network at roundtables and key conferences, ensuring an up to date knowledge of industry changes.

♦ Demonstrate and actively work to develop and maintain a high level of sector and/or discipline knowledge, contributing to thought leadership and broader company initiatives.

To be successful you’ll need:

♦ Extensive experience of successfully building long-term relationships through delivery of high quality executive search or related consulting work, or through building strong stakeholder relationships working within a regulatory organisation.

♦ A track record of successfully delivering Executive Search assignments (ideally at Executive and Non-Executive levels) and/or deep sector knowledge gained from working as a leader in a Regulatory organisation.

♦ To be highly learning oriented to continuously develop your professional knowledge and skill base, with a keen interest in the sector.

♦ The ability to assimilate complex briefs, undertake detailed and relevant market research and propose appropriate courses of action.

♦ Ability to think creatively and use initiative in order to identify business development opportunities.

♦ Excellent verbal communication, proposal writing and presentation skills.

♦ Demonstrate a clear commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Although not essential, the following skills and knowledge would be ideal:

♦ Knowledge and networks across Regulation and the broader public sector.
