Consultants are dedicated to ensuring that all aspects of delivery are supported. The Consultant role will support with every aspect of delivery from leading on research, sifting reports, and long listing calls to supporting to preliminary interviews.
Make an Impact:
Commercial Performance and Execution
♦ Support senior colleagues by responding to invitations to tender, helping to define and articulate appropriate recruitment strategies, providing experiential evidence in support of our business case and attending client pitches as appropriate
♦ Attend client briefings, appropriately and credibly challenging the brief based on your knowledge of the sector, managing expectations as appropriate;
♦ Work with Project Co-ordinators to define the project plan, briefing colleagues and closely managing every aspect of delivery, maintaining client engagement and support through regular reporting;
♦ Conduct and report on candidate interviews as appropriate;
♦ Support candidates throughout the full life cycle, maintaining engagement and helping them perform well through appropriate navigation through public sector recruitment processes;
♦ Make candidate care a priority to ensure successful assignment outcomes and differentiate ourselves from the wider market
♦ Manage and where possible oversee the effective delivery of assignments, ensuring that Project Co-ordinators & researchers having the opportunity to continually develop.
♦ Share insight to client challenges and priorities with others across GS to ensure the most appropriate colleagues are involved in maximising the account.
♦ Balance multiple assignments with grace, poise and infectious ambition for ‘outstanding’ quality and experience.
♦ Experiment with pricing points, always seeking views from Partners and mentors.
♦ Regularly read, like and share social media for your Practice/discipline area.
♦ Proactively share good new messages and commercial insights across the business
♦ Openly share recognition for colleagues where results surpass expectations.

This role requires someone who is passionate about client and candidate experience, delivering results, and driving increasingly high standards of delivery.
For this role it is essential for someone to have the following experience:
♦ Experience of assimilating complex briefs, undertaking detailed and relevant market research and proposing appropriate courses of action.
♦ Experience of assimilating information from various sources and presenting it in a concise, structured manner.
♦ Experience of working ethically and responsibly, whilst being sensitive to the needs of clients, candidates and colleagues.
