Senior Consultants are growing into established fee earners and are now becoming more independent with their business development activity and approach to account management. They are mentored by Partners and will most likely focus primarily on their own discipline specialism.


Make an Impact:

Key Responsibilities

♦ Collaborate with colleagues in responding to invitations to tender, helping to define and articulate appropriate recruitment strategies, providing experiential evidence in support of our business case and attending client pitches as appropriate

♦ Attend client briefings, appropriately and credibly challenging the brief based on your knowledge of the sector, managing expectations as appropriate;

♦ Work with Project Co-ordinators to define the project plan, briefing colleagues and closely managing every aspect of delivery, maintaining client engagement and support through regular reporting;

♦ Conduct and report on candidate interviews as appropriate;

♦ Support candidates throughout the full life cycle, maintaining engagement and helping them perform well through appropriate navigation through public sector recruitment processes;

♦ Attend and Network at key conferences, attending as many roundtables as required to ensure an up to date knowledge of industry changes.

♦ Demonstrate and actively work to develop and maintain a high level of sector and/or discipline knowledge.


For this role it is essential for someone to have the following experience:

♦ Experience of assimilating complex briefs, undertaking detailed and relevant market research and proposing appropriate courses of action.

♦ Experience of assimilating information from various sources and presenting it in a concise, structured manner.

♦ Experience and credibility to communicate at the most senior levels; to engage and interact effectively with clients and candidates.

♦ Experience of report writing and presenting.

♦ A track record of working with or within NHS organisations.
