We are now looking for new diverse, client facing consultants for our Executive Search Practice to work with clients and manage assignments. Our consultants are 100% delivery focused. Consultants will have a background in research or other parts of the search function.
What you'll do:
♦ Collaborate with colleagues in responding to invitations to tender, helping to define and articulate appropriate recruitment strategies, providing experiential evidence in support of our business case and attending client pitches as appropriate
♦ Attend client briefings, appropriately and credibly challenging the brief based on your knowledge of the sector, managing expectations as appropriate;
♦ Work with Project Co-ordinators to define the project plan, briefing colleagues and closely managing every aspect of delivery, maintaining client engagement and support through regular reporting;
♦ Conduct and report on candidate interviews as appropriate;
♦ Support candidates throughout the full life cycle, maintaining engagement and helping them perform well through appropriate navigation through public sector recruitment processes;
♦ Make candidate care a priority to ensure successful assignment outcomes and differentiate ourselves from the wider market
♦ Manage and where possible oversee the effective delivery of assignments, ensuring that Project Co-ordinators & researchers having the opportunity to continually develop.
♦ Share insight to client challenges and priorities with others across GS to ensure the most appropriate colleagues are involved in maximising the account.
♦ Balance multiple assignments with grace, poise and infectious ambition for ‘outstanding’ quality and experience.
♦ Experiment with pricing points, always seeking views from Partners and mentors.
To be successful you'll need:
♦ Ability to engage and interact effectively with clients, candidates and colleagues
♦ Ability to think creatively and use initiative in order to identify business development opportunities, conduct search, and develop professional knowledge and skill base.
♦ Strong networker
♦ Ability to assimilate complex briefs, undertake detailed and relevant market research and propose appropriate courses of action.
♦ Ability to assimilate information from various sources and present it in a concise, structured manner
♦ Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
♦ Strong skills in persuading and influencing.
♦ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with clarity and confidence with a range of different audiences.
